HOW TO ENTER: The Brock Windows $25,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes commences on May 23, 2016 and ends on April 30,2018 with entries to be submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. EST on April 30,2018 (the “Contest Closing Date”). To enter, go online to brockwinprd.wpengine.com/sweepstakes. Completely fill out the entry form, including your daytime phone number, then click on the Submit button. One entry per individual.
CONTEST DRAW: One (1) winner will be selected by Brock Doors & Windows Inc. (“Brock Doors & Windows”) from among all eligible online entries received in a random draw conducted at the offices of Brock Doors & Windows in Brampton, Ontario at or around 9am EST on May 3, 2018. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received on or before the Contest Closing Date.
ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE: Prize consists of a no cost one-time order by the winner for the supply and installation of Brock Windows products for the winner’s home having a retail value of up to $25,000. (They can choose either the $25,000 home makeover or $10,000 cash in CAD currency.) Prize must be redeemed (meaning a standard purchase agreement must be entered into between the winner and Brock Doors & Windows) and the installation completed no later than October 31, 2018 (delays caused by Brock Doors & Windows excepted).
Brock Doors & Windows, at its discretion, may substitute any Prize for equal or greater value. The Prize is only available for the winner’s home at the address submitted on the winner’s entry form, and may not be: transferred to another home, transferred to another person, or divided. The Prize cannot be combined with other offers. Winner will obtain standard Brock Doors & Windows warranties on the Brock Doors & Windows products. The prize is otherwise being provided ‘as is,’ and Brock Doors & Windows makes no warranty, representation or guarantee regarding the prize, including but not limited to its quality, condition, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
The winner will be notified by email or phone sometime before May 10, 2018. As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner must sign the ‘Declaration and Release’ form, which will be sent by e-mail, accepting the prize as awarded and consenting to the use of his or her name, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by Brock Doors & Windows, allow Brock Doors & Windows to take and publish before and after photos of the winner’s home, allow Brock Doors & Windows to take and publish photos of the Winner posing with a cheque and/or in front of the Winner’s home, and allow Brock Doors & Windows to provide a barbeque for the Winner’s family, friends and neighbours at the Winner’s home. If the winner cannot be reached within 10 days, or fails to complete and return the required contest documents, within 14 days after the document is sent, they will forfeit the prize and an alternate entrant will be randomly selected.
PRIVACY: Brock Doors & Windows will not share entrant information provided on entry forms with third parties except as needed to run and promote the results of this contest. Unless an entrant indicates otherwise on the entry form, Brock Doors & Windows may use the entrant’s e-mail address and other contact information to send them Brock Doors & Windows promotional material through email or mail. You may choose to unsubscribe to our email list at anytime. ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to all residents of Ontario within the Brock Doors & Windows service area as indicated on the map below who have reached the age of majority – excluding employees, families or affiliates (or those with whom they are domiciled) of Brock Doors & Windows. Entrants must correctly answer, unaided, the skill testing question on the ‘Declaration and Release’ form to be eligible for the prize.
By entering, entrants release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brock Doors & Windows and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, dealers and advertising and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind (including actual legal fees and expenses) (whether under legal theories of contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, operation of law or otherwise) resulting from participation in the contest.
GENERAL: This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the contest judges, which shall be final on all matters relating to this contest. All entries become the property of Brock Doors & Windows and none will be returned. Brock Windows reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or modify this contest or any portion of this contest, or extend the deadline or draw date of this contest, at any time without prior notice. Brock Doors & Windows does not assume any responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries. Brock Doors & Windows reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whom it determines (in its sole discretion) is in violation of these Rules or has tampered with the entry process.
