JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Position Title: Showroom Sales Associate 

Reports To: Inside Sales Manager 

 

Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Inside Sales Manager, the Showroom Sales Associate is responsible for increasing sales, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the customers and contractors in choosing from a wide variety of doors and windows products or accessories. Our Showroom Sales Associate provides expert product knowledge, selection assistance and customer service.  

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize email, phones, voice mail and face to face customer interactions to understand customers needs when it comes to product and service information 

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and developing quotes for contractors and homeowners 

  • Managing showroom walk in traffic, arranging meetings with customers to show products, and arranging meetings for the Outside Sales staff and their customers 

  • Coordinating product delivery and pick up 

  • Coordinating leads with the Outside Sales staff and the Call Center 

  • Maintain the Showroom as a professional place of business and cleanliness, which can include washing windows, wiping down products, etc. 

  • Working on prospects and follow up calls with customers 

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Sales executives for further development and closure 

  • Work with Outside Sales staff, Call Center Associates, and Accounting department 

  • Willingness to learn and possess a professional, knowledgeable, positive and energetic attitude 

  • Anticipates and proactively addresses emerging customer needs with well sought out solutions 

  • Distribute sales materials such as literature and samples to new and existing dealers 

 

Knowledge & Skill Requirements: 

  • Delivers superior customer service  

  • Effective listening, communication (verbal and written), and negotiating skills  

  • Accuracy and attention to detail  

  • Professional demeanor 

  • Strong team player that can work effectively not only with their own team but able to work with other areas of the business 

  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques  

  • Demonstrated success in growing sales or generating leads 

  • Windows and doors experience/knowledge would be an asset

  • Meet customers in their homes to present solutions for their window and door needs.  

  • Create and present effective proposals/quotes to prospective customers while communicating Brock’s value proposition by: 

  • Effectively offering customers quality products to suit their needs

  • Pricing all projects using quoting systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

 

Position Title: Sales Contracts Administrator 

Reports To: Team Lead Finance Analysis Sales 

 

Position Summary: The Sales Contracts Administrator is responsible for administration and review of sales contracts. The Sales Contracts Administrator liaises with Sales team daily to ensure all closed sales contracts are entered in CRM and Accounting system in an accurate and timely manner to support the invoicing process. The individual who fills this position will work closely with the Finance Department and will be cross trained to provide support when required. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Review all attributes of the contract for completeness and accuracy such as (customer signature, deposit, financing approvals, sales rep signature, completion date, payment terms). 

  • Enters and updates the company’s CRM and financial systems with job number, job costing to produce customer invoice, etc. information.  

  • Reviews and validates customer change orders and ensures all attributes of the change order are reviewed and approved. 

  • Matches contract revisions with final customer contract to ensure contract and remeasure check list details match. 

  • Manage contract cancelations by updating CRM and Accounting systems, issuing refunds where appropriate. 

  • Process SNAP application extensions. 

  • Reconcile new contract bookings 

  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records 

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Ad Hoc tasks 

  • Assisting Finance with various tasks related to the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. 

 

Key Performance Indicators:  

  • Number of orders processed daily  

  • New Sales Reporting reconciliation between Accounting and the CRM data  

  • Error rate related to contract review 

 

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:  

  • College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or Accounting  

  • Proven experience working with sales contracts or business administration (preferably within windows & doors or the construction industry)  

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to handle multi-task  

  • Strong computation skills  

  • Excellent data entry skills  

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products with a focus on Microsoft Word and Excel  

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills  

  • Confident in building and maintaining relationships with several key stakeholders
